The Bursary Institute of South Africa ("BISA")

The Bursary Institute of South Africa (“BISA”) is dedicated towards addressing the education needs of young individuals within South Africa.  Through our bursary programme, we assist the individual to save, plan and pay for learning opportunities within South Africa.  We have partnered with various tertiary institutions and offer our students a wide variety of courses, through the bursary programme, covering a broad spectrum of diplomas and degrees across a myriad of professions. Once application requirements have been met, all students are guaranteed a bursary, ranging from 25% to 100%.  

Our Company’s partnership with the various training colleges allows us to offer an extended range of education opportunities to our students and meets the needs of diversified student requirements.  As an organization we pride ourselves on meeting and exceeding the expectations of our students, education and media partners.

Our objective is to bridge the current gap that exists between the youth, tertiary educations and the employment sector by building a better future for them on a solid education foundation.  We believe education remains a vital element in providing access to employment, economic prosperity, improved quality of life, personal fulfillment and growth for all South Africans.
Education is not just about learning.  It is about developing people, communities and the entire nation.

Mission
The Bursary Institute of South Africa’s mission is to provide the youth of South Africa with information and services with regards to their post-matric studies and to assist them with decision making on what and where to study.  We provide students with the opportunity to study, through a college of their choice, a diploma or degree at an affordable price through the structuring of a bursary, specific to their individual needs.  In addition to the above, our Company’s mission is to also provide a steady flow of students into the various universities and colleges through our partnership agreements.

Vision
BISA aims to be a world class organization in the delivery of high quality, affordable bursaries to the youth of South Africa through our partnership tertiary institutions.  The Bursary Institute of South Africa’s vision is in the building of self sustained, self empowered individuals who are given the opportunity to reach their potential and tap into their passion in order to be productive, pro-active members of society within their families and communities.  We will endeavour towards making a significant difference in the upliftment, transformation and development of the disadvantaged youth in South Africa through our bursary education programme.

Part of the BISA vision is to offer an outstanding tertiary education selection of various Colleges to our students, covering a wide selection of courses, diplomas or degrees and to provide excellent student support and the highest standard of customer service to our education and media partners.  We strive to develop and maintain loyal relationships with our students, education and media partners.

In addition to the above, our vision is to create South Africa as a premier destination for further learning and training.  BISA aims to be the first port of call for students wishing to further their post-matric education, qualify for subsidized diplomas or degrees through the bursary system and wishing to bridge the skills gap between the youth and employment sectors
